Consider this a place holder
I know I’m supposed to post every day here but just not up to it this morning.
I’ll see if I can find something, somewhere that I can work up enough energy to do a post on.
It’s been one of those weekends, really good but busy.
Saturday night the Boy Scout Troop’s Pancake Supper. We visited with my in-laws and a couple I’ve known since 1991. Saw some folks that I hadn’t talked to in a while.
Found out one of the last people I would have expected has a brand new CHL — more on that later.
Then church on Sunday morning and in the afternoon, we went to my brother in law’s 40th birthday party.
It was fun but a little rough for an introvert like me. Over 35 people there, in a room for a couple of hours.
Now, this morning I’m brain dead. Come back later for more hopefully.

Bob,
Day in, day out, you make a lot of excellent posts. I’d hate to see you churn out something that isn’t 100% ’cause you feel obligated to post something. If you don’t feel up to blogging, then don’t. Sometimes we all need to rest our muse for a little bit. I’d say take the day off, rest and relax, and whatever you were going to post today, post it tomorrow.
Because after all, you did post something today. You made this post.

Bob,
I’d say take the day off and rest your muse a little. It’ll be better for you in the long run. Whatever you were working on today, save it, and post it tomorrow.
After all, you did post something today.

“I know I’m supposed to post every day here but…”
but nothing, Bud! You just did. Tho I must say the “placeholder” posts are often the “holy shit I just made 5 post today!” Harbingers.
SayUncle often takes weekends off and such like that, I wouldn’t worry too much.

Bob
Posting every day can be exhausting and lead to burn out. I have been reading, and enjoying your blog for a couple months now, and really enjoy your choice of content and your common sense opinions.
Give it a break and come back even stronger. I will be checking back almost daily.

I said the hell with posting everyday quite a while ago. Some days I’m just not feelin it, some days there’s just not much to write about, and sometimes life intervenes.
It is just a blog on the internet. If people want to read my writing and I don’t feel like posting for a week then so be it. If they’re interested they’ll wait, if not then that’s fine. I blog for myself 1st and foremost, not for my readers.
