Criminals not following the script — Big Shock, eh?

Fort Worth Police got lucky Tuesday.

FORT WORTH — Police have arrested two adult males and a 16-year-old boy in connection with a morning crime spree that included two business robberies and two home invasions — one that left an 85-year-old deaf man seriously injured.

Sgt. Pedro Criado, police spokesman, said investigators plan to seek four aggravated robbery charges against the suspects. He identified the adults as Bryant Soriano, 17, and Jose Ignacio Razo, 18.

The identity of the 16-year-old boy was not released because he is a juvenile.

Criado said the arrests were made after an employee at one of the two convenience stores robbed Tuesday morning spotted the three drive by while police were on the scene still investigating. Criado said officers pulled over the car on a traffic stop.

The thugs brazenly didn’t try to hide but drove by the same store they had robbed earlier.

Also note that we have two more home invasions to add to the recent events. I’ll have to look to see if the thugs are switching tactics- focusing on home invasions more.

We also have 2 convinence stores robbed. Guess people are just paranoid, right? I mean nothing bad can happen at the store or at home, eh?

According to police reports and calls for service, the crime spree appears to have started about 12:20 a.m. Tuesday at a 72-year-old woman’s home in the 5100 block of South Hampshire Blvd.

Three masked men, at least one of which was armed with a gun, reportedly kicked in woman’s door, stealing items before fleeing. The woman was not injured.

Now I’m waiting for the gun control advocates to tell me how the “evil firearm” was able to control all 3 thugs. I know that a firearm can make any person holding it do bad things (because no one is bad without a firearm) but are these things getting stronger?

Are they able to exert their influence over anyone in the area? We need to find out the range of control? (Of course, the multiple firearms in my house don’t seem to exert this controlling power…wonder if they are defective?)

And let’s knock down another gun control canard while we are at it — “give them what they want“.

At about 1:45 a.m., reports show that the suspects targeted the home an 85-year-old man in the 4700 block of Hampshire Blvd.

Pam Fojtik, the man’s niece, said the suspects had apparently come through the garage, then kicked in the door leading from the garage into the home. She said her uncle, who is deaf, had apparently encountered the suspects in the kitchen area.

“Take whatever you want, just don’t hurt me,” Fojtik said her uncle told the suspects.

That’s when they started to hit him,” Fojtik said. “They beat him until he was down on the floor. He had defensive wounds on his hands where he was trying to keep them from hitting his face. … He was begging them to stop.

Obviously these thugs aren’t reading the script. Just about every gun control advocate states that it is better if people just let the thugs take what they want. Here is an 85 year old man, beaten after he had already told Bryant Soriano, 17, and Jose Ignacio Razo, 18 and an unidentified 16 year to take what they want.

Now this folks are innocent till proven guilty and if they didn’t do this, I’ll apologize.

Again, this is less then 10 miles from my house. Tell me how my firearms are going to make the situation worse?

How many more people are going to have to be hurt, be beaten before we come to our senses and start letting law abiding citizens carry firearms for their protection?
How many more homes are going to be broken into before we repeal the laws and let safe but inexpensive imported firearms back into the country?

How many more stores are going to be robbed, customers & employees/owners threatened before we start a program to train and arm store owners? — Why not take some of those firearms confiscated from thugs like these and sell them at low cost or give them to store owners?

Please join the discussion.

    Anon,

What is hard to understand? What don’t I know about?

    What did I get wrong?

I’m your neighbor. I’m the person down the street. I’m the guy in the car next to you. I’m the guy standing in line behind you at the store.

I live within 10 miles of where this happened, that is all you need to know.

    Anon,

Welcome back, I’ve missed your intelligent conversation and wit.

I’m happy to set the story straight. Can you provide any support for your profane filled statements?

I’ll be happy to do another top post if there is something besides the word of someone living a few hundred miles away.

Looking at the Tarrant County Jail records; I see that both these thugs are still in jail. Guess they are just waiting for someone to see they are “choir boys” and let them go, eh?
